President of the Republic Nizar Amedi affirmed on Tuesday the importance of holding the Eighth Baghdad Dialogue Conference in addressing the challenges facing Iraq and the region. This came during his meeting at the Peace Palace in Baghdad with Dr. Abbas Radi Al-Amiri, Director of the Iraqi Institute for Dialogue.
The Director of the Iraqi Institute for Dialogue presented the President of the Republic with an invitation to participate in the activities of the Eighth Baghdad Dialogue Conference, scheduled to be held in Baghdad on 21–22 August 2026.
The President of the Republic emphasized the importance of convening the conference, particularly under the current circumstances, stressing the significance of dialogues and discussions in addressing the issues and challenges facing Iraq and the region. He also wished success for the conference and the achievement of its objectives.
