On the sidelines of the fifth edition of the Baghdad International Dialogue Conference, organized by the Iraqi Institute for Dialogue, and in the presence of His Excellency Prime Minister Mohammed Shia’ Al-Sudani, First Iraqi Bank launched a global instant money transfer service supported by Visa cards to banks around the world.
First Iraqi Bank is the first bank in the country to turn digital banking services into a tangible reality for the Iraqi people, as part of its strategic partnership with Visa, the global leader in digital payments, aimed at transforming Iraq’s payments sector.
With this step, First Iraqi Bank becomes the first bank in Iraq to offer global instant money transfer services to Iraqi customers.
It is worth noting that First Iraqi Bank is among the sponsors of the Baghdad International Dialogue Conference, which commenced on March 19, 2023, and continued for two days at the Babylon Rotana Hotel in the capital, Baghdad.
