The 7th Baghdad International Dialogue Conference will be held in Baghdad on Saturday and Sunday, February 22–23, 2025, under the theme “Connectivity for Development and Regional Stability”, with the participation of a distinguished group of decision-makers, academics, and international experts.
The conference sessions will address a range of vital topics reflecting the latest regional and international developments. The first day will feature sessions dedicated to discussing the Development Road Project, its role in enhancing security and regional stability, and the challenges facing this ambitious initiative.
Participants will also explore ways to strengthen Iraq’s role in ensuring regional security after October 7, alongside a special session on the role of the informed elite in shaping Iraq’s future.
On the second day, the conference will continue with sessions examining geopolitical shifts and their impact on the region, as well as discussions on economic cooperation, regional integration, and the future of energy and trade corridors. A key session will focus on the future of Syria from an international perspective, followed by debates on great power competition and its implications for Middle East stability.
The conference provides a crucial platform to exchange perspectives on regional issues and open new avenues for constructive dialogue, contributing to the promotion of sustainable development, economic integration, and political stability across the region.
