Second Session of the Second Day – 7th Baghdad International Dialogue Conference

The second session of the second day of the 7th Baghdad International Dialogue Conference was held under the title: “Pathway to Development: Regional Challenges and Requirements”, with the participation of a distinguished group of researchers and specialists from various academic institutions and international research centers.

The session featured:

Giorgio Cavieri, Director of the Gulf Center – Washington

Dr. Hassan Abbas from NESA Center at the National Defense University – USA

Dr. Abbas Al-Anburi from Riwaq Baghdad Policy Center – Iraq

The session was moderated by Dr. Alaa Hamid from Ghadā Risk Management Foundation.

During the session, participants discussed the regional challenges facing the Pathway to Development project, the requirements needed to achieve its objectives, as well as its strategic implications for regional stability and cooperation.

Speakers emphasized the importance of coordinated efforts between Iraq and neighboring countries to ensure the project’s success, highlighting that sustainable development is a key tool for promoting regional security and collective cooperation.

The session witnessed active engagement from attendees, with numerous practical proposals presented to support the Pathway to Development as a driver for regional stability and economic integration.
