The first session of the Baghdad International Dialogue opened under the theme “Development Road: Security Opportunities for Regional Stability and Interconnected Interests”, bringing together a distinguished group of experts and decision-makers from various countries.
Participants in the session include Mark Kimmitt, former U.S. Assistant Secretary of State; Dr. Towhid Asadi, a member of the Academic Board at the University of Tehran; Dr. Adel Badiwi from the Iraqi Institute for Dialogue; Adam Weinstein, Deputy Director of the Middle East Program at the Quincy Institute; and Belçay Domin from the ORSAM Center – Turkey. The session is chaired by Brian Campbell from the Atlantic Council.
The discussion focuses on the role of the Development Road project in promoting regional stability and explores how economic and security interests intersect to ensure a more stable future for the region.
