Dr. Firas Elias, Professor of Strategy and National Security at the College of Political Science, University of Mosul, emphasized that the Baghdad International Dialogue Conference seeks to remove misunderstandings in the region and encourage decision-makers to address current challenges.
Speaking at the 6th Baghdad International Dialogue Conference, Elias stated: “The sixth edition of the Baghdad Dialogue Conference is being held under extraordinary circumstances facing Iraq and the region. It is essential to give importance to this conference to clear up regional misunderstandings.”
He added, “The conference has taken upon itself the task of addressing such issues to ensure that the public, research centers, and decision-makers are fully aware of the nature of the challenges confronting the region.”
Elias concluded, “This conference serves as a key platform in the region by attracting a distinguished group of academics and policymakers to tackle issues of concern to the peoples and countries of this region amid the ongoing challenges.”
