The Baghdad International Dialogue Conference is a significant milestone in post-2003 Iraq. It is an annual dialogue forum held in the Iraqi capital, Baghdad.
Baghdad International Dialogue 2025
The seventh Baghdad International Dialogue Conference commenced on February 22-23, 2025, in Baghdad, Iraq. The two-day conference was held under the theme: “Communication for Development and Regional Stability.”
This international gathering was held under the patronage of Prime Minister Mohammed Shia’ al-Sudani and organized by the Iraqi Institute for Dialogue.
For the first time, Iraq is undertaking a development project of this scale, directly benefiting the Iraqi people and serving the interests of neighboring and friendly nations in the region. This project is envisioned as a cornerstone for a sustainable, non-oil economy and a vital link that benefits all, ensuring the continued momentum of this important issue.
The conference hosted distinguished guests from the four countries contributing to the project, as well as other countries in the region, and was attended by over 100 prominent stakeholders from Iraq and around the world.
