Mr. Adnan Tabatabai, Executive Director of the German CARPO Foundation, delivered a keynote at the 6th Baghdad International Dialogue Conference, highlighting Iraq’s central role in fostering regional dialogue and integration.
He emphasized that Iraq serves as a bridge for communication among competing regional actors and stressed the importance of dialogue in addressing security, economic, and political challenges in the Middle East.
Tabatabai noted that the conference provides a crucial platform for policymakers, academics, and experts to share perspectives and develop practical solutions for regional stability. He underscored that collaboration between think tanks, governments, and civil society is essential to building trust and promoting sustainable development in the region.
He concluded by reaffirming CARPO’s commitment to supporting initiatives that strengthen Iraq’s role as a hub for constructive dialogue and regional cooperation.
